2012 didn’t provide a lot of time for camping. We are really hoping that 2013 will be much
different. After some much needed maintenance
and a vehicle upgrade—we are out and about again!
We didn’t go to far from home due to a move within the month
and work schedules/time – however, Cherry Creek State Park provided to a be a
great meeting point between our very good friends and us. Park was pretty full, but luckily I logged on
early and booked our sites (95 and 96).
Not a lot of activity this weekend, but that’s exactly what
we wanted. Played with our cameras,
napped, read and spent a lot of time around the campfire. They too are getting ready to journey away
from Colorado, so this was a little bitter sweet for all of us.
T@b did great, the new Highlander pulled it like a
champ! Everything was in working order –
only thing we need to replace is a burnt out bulb on the outside of the
trailer. Looking forward to a GREAT
season of camping in South Dakota and surrounding areas.
Let the camping season begin!!!
